As Couture designer of bespoke gowns, Jason Kieck Designs have over the past 20 years raised funds for various charities, and they have recently announced that Wilderness Foundation Africa has been chosen as the next beneficiary of the Jason Kieck Fundraisers, which offer designer couture shows, 5* dinners as well as amazing entertainment, prizes and auction items.
The 2019 Jason Kieck Designs Charity Couture & Entertainment Gala Dinner, being held at Times Square in Pretoria, has partnered with the Capital City Business Chamber’s (CCBC) annual CCBC Prestige Gala, thereby reaching a broader audience.
This event will have a few highlights, including:
- Announcing the CCBC Business Competition winners in the following 4 key business sectors: Manufacturing | Tourism | Property & Infrastructure | Business Services.
- On the evening the CCBC will also honour Entrepreneurship within the informal sector
- The Author of the book KasiNomics, White Zulu GG Alcock will be one of the Keynote speakers at this year’s event to unveil the hidden factors of the KasiNomics Revolution unknown to most of us.
The event was launched at an elite cocktail event on 23 May 2019 at the Sun Maslow Hotel Menlyn, where guests were addressed by Brett Hoppe, GM of Sun Time Square and key sponsor of this event; David Morobe, Chairman of the CCBC, Cllr Isak Pietersen, MCC of Economic Development and Spatial Planning, Ms Pinky Kondlo, Director of WFA and Jason Kieck of Jason Kieck Designs.
The theme of the fashion extravaganza by Jason Kieck Designs will be Desert Nights, a theme which evokes calm, serenity and pristine elegance, from the beautiful, rolling, golden sand dunes to the exotic flora and star studded midnight blue skies.
“The Wilderness Foundation Africa has a wholistic approach to their work, helping not only species and spaces, but also people. It is for this reason that we have chosen to work with WFA. Their grass roots approach to Youth Development is inspiring, from taking youth without any positive outlook in life, through the basics of nature and the peace found in the wild, to the skills development, resulting in employable young adults who then have a hope and a future. It is the joy and gratitude of these graduates who come through these WFA programs that inspire hope and a future of possibilities.” Jason Kieck
“We are proud of our new association with Jason Kieck Designs. Not only is this an opportunity to raise much needed funding for our Youth Development Programme and related conservation projects, it is also an opportunity to create much needed awareness for sustainability goals in these times of dramatic global changes to our environment.”
